DAY 1
Selamat datang, welcome to BALI, INDONESIA!
On Day 1, you’ll arrive at Bali's International Airport. Regardless of your arrival time, we’ll have your BALI SOJOUNER personal driver greet you at the airport and deliver you to your dreamy private villa with pool. The villa will be located near the town of Ubud, Bali's "cultural and spiritual capital," and the location-of-choice for families visiting Bali.
Upon arrival at your private villa, your Villa Host will have welcome drinks and a freshly baked cake waiting for you, and the villa’s barista will be ready to fix espressos or cappuccinos for anyone wanting a coffee. After initial greetings have been exchanged, you’ll be shown to your spacious guest rooms, each complete with a luxurious king-sized bed and private bathroom.
Once you’ve settled into your rooms, some family-members may want to take a dip and cool off in your private pool. Others may be tired after their long flight and just wish to relax in their guest rooms, enjoying the panoramic views of the terraced rice fields surrounding your villa.
In the evening, your Personal Driver will deliver your family to one of our favourite Ubud dining spots, so you can immediately begin to get a feel for the vibrant and pulsating culture of Ubud. Central to the island's artistic and intellectual heritage, Ubud is often referred to as the “soul of Bali.” This is where Bali's arts are at their brightest and its traditions at their most visible.
After a sumptuous dinner, your driver will return you to your villa for a good night's rest before setting off for your first Bali experience in the morning.
DAYS 2, 3, 4, 5
We'll devote four full days to an exploration of Bali.
Over four days, your Personal Driver and your dedicated Bali Tour Guide will take you off the well-trodden path for a true "insider journey" across the island - a journey filled with opportunities that would normally only be available to natives. You’ll venture to intricately carved temples rarely visited by tourists; you’ll stop at exquisite villages where locals will prepare you meals whilst excited youngsters perform ritual dances; you’ll visit traditional spice plantations; you'll find hidden beaches and secret spiritual springs – you’ll experience "authentic Bali" and discover the true essence of the "Island of the Gods."
Throughout your four-day journey of discovery, you’ll travel in a spacious air-conditioned vehicle, fully stocked with your favourite snacks and beverages. But, along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to trek to hidden waterfalls, cycle through serene rice terraces tripping down hillsides, climb to mountaintops for spectacular views, ride through tropical forests on horseback or on ATV/jungle buggies, do some dolphin spotting in dug-out canoes, do some whitewater rafting – whatever suits the fancy of your family-members.
For those interested in immersing themselves in the Bali way of life, there are classes offered in Balinese cooking, traditional painting and batik making, carving, silver making, rindik playing, traditional dance – anything you’d like.
And let us not forget about Bali’s famous massage and spa treatments, available everywhere on the island!
These are only a few of the endless options available to you in Bali. Therefore, it will be essential that we decide on your family’s itinerary prior to your arrival. We can build in all kinds of other activities to your itinerary – from a sunset cruise to a family photo sessions on a hidden beach. You just let us know your ideas and we’ll be ready to make your Bali dreams come true.
Before heading out each morning, your family will be served a sumptuous breakfast at your villa. Your private chef will prepare anything you desire – omelettes, egg benedict, pancakes, waffles, french toast, muesli fruit yoghurt, freshly baked scones and muffins, Balinese nasi goreng and mie goreng – you name it!
And, at the end of each day, you’ll have the option of (1) returning to your villa for a dinner prepared by your private chef and served on a terrace overlooking the surrounding rice fields, or (2) going into Ubud to enjoy a dinner at a world-renown restaurant and attend a fascinating Balinese dance or musical performance.

DAY 6
Families never come to Bali that they don't wish they had more time. There is simply NOT sufficient time to partake in all the indulgences concentrated on this small island.
With this in mind, on Day 6 (the last full day of your family vacation), you'll have a "Free Day" (from sunup until 3:30 pm) and you’ll be free to do anything you wish. You can visit sites you haven’t seen or revisit sites you’ve seen; do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs to take home; pay one last visit to Ubud; or just relax at your private villa. It’s entirely up to you how you and your family choose to spend your free day.
(We'll keep your Personal Driver on call for the day to transport you anywhere you desire.)
At 3:30pm, your Tour Host will take you into Ubud for a very special final evening in Bali. It's our custom at BALI SOJOURNER to end our Bali tours with a private dinner and private performance at a surprise location.
DAY 7
Having completed an intense cultural journey across Bali, you and your family-members should have restored balance to your mind, body and spirit. We expect you'll be pretty well tanned, have heaps of photos, and lots of stories to tell when you get back home. But, more importantly, we hope you'll have many fond memories of the experiences you shared with your family on the Island of the Gods.
Your family journey will officially come to an end after you enjoy a lavish farewell breakfast prepared by your Private Chef at your villa.
If you have a flight to catch immediately, your Driver will return you to the airport and say his good-byes. If you’re remaining in Bali, you may wish to stay at your villa until check-out (or even extend your stay by a day or two).
Regardless of when you depart the villa, your BALI SOJOURNER Driver will be available to deliver you and your family to the airport (or wherever you need to go) at no additional charge.

Prior to your arrival, BALI SOJOURNER will arrange and pay for your Indonesian Visas. This will enable you to simply scan your passports upon arrival and immediately proceed to the baggage area.
Note : Indonesia’s Visa-on-Arrival (VOA) is available to citizens of 97 countries.
If your country is NOT included on the list of VOA-eligible countries, then you will need to visit the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate in your home-country to arrange for a visa (before visiting Indonesia).
